Create & Connect Workshops
Where makers gather to create, learn, and connect.
Our Create & Connect Workshops are guided art and craft sessions built around the same nature-inspired, process-based spirit as our Sown & Grown program — with room to slow down, try something new, and make alongside others. Each workshop stands on its own, so you can join whichever ones spark your interest. Age recommendations are listed with each workshop as it's announced.
Connect & Create Registration Form is at the bottom of the registration page.

Encaustic Painting Workshop
Our encaustic painting workshop dives into the basic techniques and processes used in encaustic painting. In this workshop, you can expect to learn and experience the process of making a layered encaustic painting in a shared workspace. You will have many miscellaneous materials to explore to create your own unique encaustic painting. The possibilities are endless with this medium, and you will have a lot of room for creative expression. This is more of an open-ended workshop meant to explore the art medium and less about creating a finished product, although all encaustic paintings turn out pretty fantastic regardless of the process and techniques used!
