All In One Crafts | Forest School of the Arts
Where Art, Nature, and Childhood Meet
Drop-in art workshops for elementary-aged children rooted in the beauty of the natural world.
At All In One Crafts, we invite your child into a world of hands-on creativity. Every workshop is inspired by nature and the art of homesteading, guided by curiosity, and grounded in a child led artistic learning environment. We also offer Outdoor Education workshops — including skate school — at our home or yours.
Why All In One Crafts?
We believe children are
natural artists and explorers.
Our workshops give them the space, materials, and freedom to explore and discover their own voice.
Art Rooted in Nature
Each workshop connects visual art directly to the living world — from botanical illustration to natural dyeing to sculpting with clay. Children don't just make art; they learn to see the world like artists.
Inspired by Two Great Philosophies
Our program draws from Charlotte Mason's love of nature study and gentle observation — and Reggio Emilia's belief that children are capable, creative, and deserving of beautiful learning environments.
Flexible by Design
No commitments, no pressure. Our drop-in format lets families join when it works for them. Each session stands on its own while weaving into a rich year-long curriculum of seasonal themes.

Meet Your Teacher
About Hannah
Artist, educator, homesteader, and mom — all in one.

Hello, I'm
Hannah Litzsinger
I'm a mom rooted in faith and follower of Jesus. I have a deep love for art, the outdoors, and and the joys of homesteading. Whether I'm hiking through the woods, tending to my garden, or exploring new trails with my family, I'm most alive when I'm surrounded by the natural world.
I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education with an emphasis on painting, and I've spent years inspiring young artists as a K–12 visual arts educator — with my primary focus for elementary-aged students. Being a homeschooling mom has deepened my passion even further, and helped inspire the creation of All In One Crafts | Forest School of the Arts.
As the founder, director, and lead teacher, I bring together everything I love — art, nature, homesteading, faith, and shaping young minds — in a place where kids are free to explore, create, and grow.

View Skate School →Our Philosophy
Two Philosophies. One Beautiful Foundation.
Our workshops are shaped by two of the most respected child-centered educational philosophies in the world.
📚 Charlotte Mason
Charlotte Mason believed that children deserve a rich, living education — one that includes time in nature, careful observation, personal expression, and the freedom to follow their curiosity. Her influence shapes the gentle rhythm of our workshops: morning nature walks, personal nature journals, and unhurried time to look closely at the world.
🎨 Reggio Emilia
The Reggio Emilia approach treats children as capable, creative beings who construct their own understanding through exploration and play. It shapes how we set up our art stations — as invitations, not instructions — and how we respond to children's ideas with respect and genuine curiosity.
Together, these philosophies create a workshop environment that is child-led, deeply connected to nature, and rich with opportunity for artistic growth.
Our Mission
What We're Here to Do
To nurture creativity, cultivate wonder, and connect children to the natural world through hands-on art experiences — one season, one workshop, one child at a time.

Daily Rhythm
A Day at the Workshop
Every workshop day follows a gentle rhythm that balances guided activity with free exploration.
🌳 Nature Walk & Observation
We begin outside with play which turns into a short walk on the homestead, observing what's alive and changing with the season. Made nature journals for each weekly nature theme are passed out, and children are encouraged to notice, sketch, and wonder.
📓 Art Lesson / Craft
A quick art lesson demonstration that supports our weekly nature theme. In these lessons students will learn the basics of the art medium we are using and the techniques used within that medium. Each lesson will explore specific elements and principles of art and design.
🎨 Art Station Exploration
The heart of the workshop. Children move freely between art stations set up indoors and outdoors on our homestead. Each station ties to the month's theme, weekly nature theme, and the season's art focus.
✨ Sharing & Clean-Up
We close by sharing what we made — not as a critique, but as a celebration. Children practice talking about their art and listening to others. Then we tidy up together, practicing good stewardship of our space and materials.
A Charlotte Mason Tradition
Nature Journals
Every child is encouraged to use and work through the weekly nature paper journals provided throughout the year — as a living record of observations, sketches, and ideas as they move through the seasons. Parents are encouraged to keep the weekly paper journals and combine them to create a year-long nature journal documenting the progression experienced throughout the year.
Nature journals build:
- Close observation and attention to detail
- Drawing and painting skills
- A personal relationship with the natural world
- A record of growth over time

Explore & Create
Our Art Stations
Six stations. Six mediums. One homestead full of possibility.
Our homestead workshop is arranged into six art stations, each offering a different medium, technique, and way of engaging with the natural world. Each workshop entails an art lesson teaching the fundamentals of art and design, technique, and the basics of each medium intertwined with nature and homesteading. Stations are refreshed to align with our seasonal and weekly nature themes. Children move freely and spend as much time as they'd like at each station, carrying the art techniques taught along the way.
Nature Journaling Station
📓Children observe and document the living world around them — sketching plants, animals, insects, and seasonal changes in their paper nature journals, and creating nature-inspired collage art. This station is always open and always evolving with the season.
Painting Station
🎨Children paint nature-inspired scenes, portraits of plants and animals, and seasonal landscapes. Each month's painting focus connects to one of the elements or principles of art — from color mixing in summer to value and shadow in winter. In our painting station, children have the opportunity to explore techniques on our community painting walls.
Clay Station
Children shape and mold clay into nature-inspired forms — animals, seed pods, mushrooms, pinch pots, and more. Clay work connects children to the earth in a direct, tactile way and introduces three-dimensional form and sculpture.
Fiber Arts Station
🧶Children explore fiber arts using both traditional materials and found natural elements — weaving, felting, sewing, crocheting, and exploring different fabrics. Fiber arts build fine motor skills and introduce pattern, rhythm, and texture as elements of design.
Natural Dyeing Station
🌿Children explore color through nature by dyeing fabric with plants. This station connects art to science, homesteading, and the seasons — what's available to dye with changes throughout the year.
Loose Parts Station
♻️Children construct three-dimensional sculptures and other art from recycled and found materials. This station builds creative problem-solving, introduces structural thinking, and honors the homesteading value of using what you have.

A Living Curriculum
Art That Grows with the Seasons
Our curriculum is built around the natural world as both teacher and material. Each season brings a new artistic focus. Each month, a new theme.
The Four Seasons
Each Season, a New Focus
This is a living curriculum — it breathes with the land, changes with the light, and meets children exactly where they are. With inspirations pulled from Treehouse School House's Nature Studies and Art Lesson that support our themes.
🌸 Spring — Awakening
New life, growth, and renewal. We celebrate the return of color — budding trees, returning birds, and the first wildflowers pushing through the soil.
☀️ Summer — Abundance
Energy, light, and the vibrant fullness of the season. We explore water, insects, gardens, and the long days of summer.
🍂 Autumn — Harvest
Change, abundance, and the texture of the harvest season. We work with the colors and materials that fall provides in abundance.
❄️ Winter — Stillness
Quiet, contrast, and the beauty of the bare landscape. Winter teaches us to look more closely — at tracks in snow, branch silhouettes, and the drama of light and shadow.
Monthly Themes
A New Theme Every Month
Each month, all art stations rotate to support a single nature-based theme, explored across multiple mediums and nature focuses rotation each week. With inspirations pulled from Treehouse School House's Nature Studies and Art Lesson that support our themes.
