Welcome to All In One Crafts Art Studio
Where Art, Nature, and Childhood Meet
Our Sown & Grown Art Enrichment Program is a nature-inspired, process-art program for preschool and lower-elementary makers (ages 3–8, with other ages always welcome). It pairs the 52 weekly nature themes of the Treehouse Nature Study with a rotating cycle of five main art mediums — Drawing & Painting, Sculpture, Printmaking, Ceramics, and Fiber Arts — inviting children into a year-round journey of creating, guided by curiosity and rooted in God's creation and the art of homesteading.
How Our Program Works
Each month, we focus on one main art medium and explore its techniques through a nature theme that rotates each week — inspired by Treehouse Schoolhouse's seasonal nature studies. Stations around the studio are set up to support both that month's medium and the week's nature theme, so students dive deep into the techniques and processes each medium holds, always tied back to the elements and principles of art and design.
While we highlight one main medium each month, we never fully set the others aside — a clay month might still weave in drawing or painting. The goal is for students to build a real foundation, learning the core techniques of each medium one focused month at a time.
What a Workshop Looks Like
- Arrival & free exploration — Students come straight into the studio and explore the open stations while everyone gathers.
- Circle up — We gather on the carpet to go over studio expectations, the month's art medium, and the week's nature theme.
- Nature walk — When the theme calls for it, we step outside to connect our nature theme to the living world around us — observing the life and processes on our homestead, gathering natural materials, and sketching from life.
- Create — Back in the studio, we spend the heart of the workshop on an art lesson built around the monthly medium and a technique within it, seen through the week's nature theme and season.
- Clean up & debrief — We close by tidying together and talking through our projects, processes, and discoveries.
Our Art Stations
Our studio is arranged into stations that each open a different door into the month's medium — a hands-on place to explore its techniques and processes, while reflecting the season and weekly nature theme.
Two stations are always open, no matter the medium or theme:
- The Community Art Wall — a shared, ever-growing canvas for open-ended creativity.
- The Loose Parts Station — building and making from found and recycled materials.
Both are designed to be open-ended, giving students space to express and explore at their own pace, with process valued over product.
Rooted in Living Education
Inspired by the Reggio Emilia and Charlotte Mason philosophies, our program celebrates child-led exploration and a deep connection to the natural world. We believe every child is an artist. Our aim is to give students the tools and freedom to explore, express, and discover what sparks their own creativity — building not just artistic skill, but curiosity, problem-solving, and confidence.
